This Dahlonega canvas print captures the beautiful architecture of Price Memorial Hall. The 1879 building was built over the foundations of the US Mint that burned in 1878. The mint was part of Dahlonega's gold rush history and had been deeded in 1873 to what was then North Georgia Agricultural College. When I last visited Dahlonega, this was still North Georgia College before the merger with other colleges in the region. In fact, over the years I've had a lot of friends and co-workers who were alumni of this college, but my only experience was my treks into the mountains, mostly in autumn to see the leaves change. And there's a hint of fall color in the leaves in this artwork which are turning a suitable golden color that complements the gold covered steeple of Price Memorial Hall.
This Dahlonega artwork captures a little of the history of the area. Both because this is the oldest surviving building on the campus and because of the golden steeple. Gold leaf was added to the steeple at what was then North Georgia College in 1973 in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the college. It's certainly a beautiful site against blue skies isn't it? In the rolling terrain of Dahlonega, the steeple can be viewed from many vantage points around the city so there's little doubt this is a familiar site if you've visited.

Canvas Prints - Product Information
Stretched canvas prints are a great choice for decorating your home or office. Canvas art is a classic choice that is at home in traditional and modern decor alike.
After the purchase of your canvas print, it is made to your order. The artwork is printed on an acid-free poly/cotton blend canvas. The use of archival inks and substrate means that your canvas art print should last a lifetime without fading or loss of color.
When ordering your print, you have a choice between glossy and matte finishes. While I ordinarily love matte finishes on prints, I do like the sheen that comes on glossy canvas prints. Ultimately I would suggest letting the amount of light in your space guide your choice. In a brightly lit environment, I would lean towards a matte finish to reduce the chance of glare.
There are three wrap styles to choose from for canvas prints. The mirrored wrap choice mirrors and extends the image to the sides of the canvas wrap (without losing any of the original artwork on the front). The majority of the time I would suggest this is the best choice. The other two options are a solid black wrap or white wrap. You can see a preview of each option when selecting wrap color.
After printing, the canvas is stretched over and secured to a wooden frame of 1.5" by 1.5" stretcher bars. The entire production process takes from 10 to 15 business days. Your artwork will arrive in sturdy packaging. The hanging wire will be attached and all hardware necessary to hang your canvas print will be included. Canvas prints are a great ready-to-hang option.

What People Are Saying
I'm a Hill and when I saw this I just had to buy it. I have so many fond memories of spending summer weeks down in Montezuma at Nanny and Paw's store. I was so sad when the flood filled the store with water but it was a testament to the community when so many banded together to help out afterwards. Just know I bought this print to frame and take to Nanny so she can enjoy it as well. Thank you so much for making this ❤️

She Loves It!
My girlfriend just received the print, and she loves it! We both love the vibrant colors, and Forsyth Park, Savannah in general, and Tybee Island are special to us because she lives in NC and I live in FL, so every once in a while we’ll meet in the middle and explore together.
Thank you so much!
