Colonial Governor's Palace - Williamsburg Metal Print by Mark Tisdale.

This Williamsburg metal print features a view of the Colonial Governor's palace for Virginia. Built in the early 1700's, it was burned in 1781. The building that sits at the end of the Palace Green was faithfully reconstructed on its original site in the 1930's. While there are buildings in Williamsburg that are genuinely still standing from the colonial era, this gorgeous Georgian building is not one of them. And yet, it's such an integral part of the history and beauty of Colonial Williamsburg that I found I really didn't care if it was an original building or not. This is nonetheless a vista that would have been familiar to the folks of Williamsburg in American colonial times!

This Williamsburg metal print captures the beautiful facade of the Colonial Governor's palace flanked by trees in late summer. The grandeur of Old Georgian is simply hard to beat.

What catches your eye in this Colonial Governor's palace art? Have you lived in or visited Williamsburg or do you simply adore history?

Metal Prints - Back Frame

Metal prints are a contemporary and stylish choice that will arrive at your door ready to hang.

The artwork is printed on a 1/16" thick sheet of aluminum that is then mounted on a 3/4" thick wooden frame. The wooden frame is recessed from the edge of the print giving the appearance of a thin high-gloss metal print that appears to be offset from your wall.

Each metal print is made to your order and printed using archival quality materials that should last a lifetime. Metal prints take 10 to 15 business days to produce and are shipped directly to you in sturdy packaging.

The only decision you will have to make when ordering your metal print is how large you would like it to be.
