This Dingle Ireland metal print shows Christ on the Cross at Slea Head on the Dingle Peninsula. This shrine was an unexpected surprise during the Slea Head drive on New Year's day years ago. The white stone in the bright morning light was eye catching on its own. The backdrop of the rocks and the surrounding landscape took it to another level. I searched for background information about this Crucifixion sculpture since my visit but beyond its existence I've never found any of the history. I've read this roadside shrine referred to as a "Pieta-like Crucifixion scene" as well as the "Calvary of Christ." I wish I knew more details about it but what I do know from my own eyes is that it is situated at a particularly beautiful and prominent place on the Dingle Peninsula. And I'm sure that many would agree it's an unforgettable sight on a sunny day.
The sunny skies with the streaks of clouds is also a memorable part of this scene. There's almost an angelic quality to those clouds don't you think?
I would love to hear what attracts you to this metal print of Christ on the Cross in Dingle, Ireland. And if you have any more information about its history, I'd be excited to hear from you as well!

What People Are Saying
I'm a Hill and when I saw this I just had to buy it. I have so many fond memories of spending summer weeks down in Montezuma at Nanny and Paw's store. I was so sad when the flood filled the store with water but it was a testament to the community when so many banded together to help out afterwards. Just know I bought this print to frame and take to Nanny so she can enjoy it as well. Thank you so much for making this ❤️

She Loves It!
My girlfriend just received the print, and she loves it! We both love the vibrant colors, and Forsyth Park, Savannah in general, and Tybee Island are special to us because she lives in NC and I live in FL, so every once in a while we’ll meet in the middle and explore together.
Thank you so much!

Metal Prints - Product Information
Metal prints are a contemporary and stylish choice that will arrive at your door ready to hang.
The artwork is printed on a 1/16" thick sheet of aluminum that is then mounted on a 3/4" thick wooden frame. The wooden frame is recessed from the edge of the print giving the appearance of a thin high-gloss metal print that appears to be offset from your wall.
Each metal print is made to your order and printed using archival quality materials that should last a lifetime. Metal prints take 10 to 15 business days to produce and are shipped directly to you in sturdy packaging.
The only decision you will have to make when ordering your metal print is how large you would like it to be.
