The subject of this unique London greeting card is the brilliant Gothic Revival architecture of the "Big Ben" clock tower. This amazing piece of Victorian engineering must be among the most recognizable buildings in the world while at the same time no one ever seems to call it by its proper name. As any Anglophile can tell you "Big Ben" is the name given to the main bell. The tower itself in recent years was named for Queen Elizabeth II. But that hasn't stopped anyone from looking at the tower and saying, "Look kids, Big Ben, Parliament..."
This unique artwork highlights the architecture of the tower itself and its towering presence over Westminster Bridge. The image on this card was based on photos from one of my trips to London where, following a race of some sort, the bridge was open to pedestrians instead of cars. That provided a somewhat different perspective of the bridge.
The colors of this image are somewhat muted compared to my other work but I loved the vintage style it gives this "Big Ben" clock artwork.

About Greeting Cards

Greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. Each card comes with a white envelope.
These greeting cards may be ordered as a single card or in packs of 10 or 25 cards. If you would like to order cards in greater quantities or with other customization, send me a message.
How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
