Big Ben Clock - Unique London Metal Print
The subject of this unique London metal print is the brilliant Gothic Revival architecture of the "Big Ben" clock tower. This amazing piece of Victorian engineering must be among the most recognizable buildings in the world while at the same time no one ever seems to call it by its proper name. As any Anglophile can tell you "Big Ben" is the name given to the main bell. The tower itself in recent years was named for Queen Elizabeth II. But that hasn't stopped anyone from looking at the tower and saying, "Look kids, Big Ben, Parliament..."
This unique artwork highlights the architecture of the tower itself and its towering presence over Westminster Bridge. The image on this metal print was based on photos from one of my trips to London where, following a race of some sort, the bridge was open to pedestrians instead of cars. That provided a somewhat different perspective of the bridge.
The colors of this scene are somewhat muted compared to my other work but I loved the vintage style it gives this "Big Ben" clock artwork.

Metal Prints - Product Information
Metal prints are a contemporary and stylish choice that will arrive at your door ready to hang.
The artwork is printed on a 1/16" thick sheet of aluminum that is then mounted on a 3/4" thick wooden frame. The wooden frame is recessed from the edge of the print giving the appearance of a thin high-gloss metal print that appears to be offset from your wall.
Each metal print is made to your order and printed using archival quality materials that should last a lifetime. Metal prints take 10 to 15 business days to produce and are shipped directly to you in sturdy packaging.
The only decision you will have to make when ordering your metal print is how large you would like it to be.
