This Boston art print features Brookline's Coolidge Corner neighborhood. This scene captures a dusk moment with beautiful art deco architecture and a Boston MBTA bus. This is based on photos I took on a winter night in Brookline years ago and the bus with the destination of Harvard Square on the front of it was to me a great slice of life of the streets of greater Boston at night.
This Beacon Street image features the busy street corner of Beacon Street and Harvard Street. The sign below the art deco spire leaves no question of location. In fact this is this old streetcar suburb is the area where JFK was born. I'm not sure what the history of the building in this scene is but the architecture is what caught my eye as dusk fell on this Boston neighborhood.
What captures your attention in this Coolidge Corner artwork? Have you called Brookline home at some point? Or does the architecture call to you?
