This Key Biscayne metal print features the Cape Florida Light. This historic lighthouse was constructed in 1825. The lighthouse operated until 1878 when it was replaced by another lighthouse. A century later it was briefly re-activated to mark the Florida Channel into Biscayne Bay. This period of operation lasted from 1978 to 1990 when the Cape Florida Light was again deactivated. The lighthouse was restored in the 1990's and re-lit in 1996. Today it stands in the Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park where the lighthouse and an adjacent museum operate to educate the public about the Maritime history of the Miami-Dade region.
This lighthouse was a subject recommended to me by a follower and I had a strong yen for palm trees right now so I was happy to do something with a bit of a tropical vibe. I would love to hear what attracted you to this lighthouse metal print? Are you familiar with the Cape Florida Light? Or do you simply love lighthouses or tropical scenery? I hope you'll share your thoughts.

What People Are Saying
I'm a Hill and when I saw this I just had to buy it. I have so many fond memories of spending summer weeks down in Montezuma at Nanny and Paw's store. I was so sad when the flood filled the store with water but it was a testament to the community when so many banded together to help out afterwards. Just know I bought this print to frame and take to Nanny so she can enjoy it as well. Thank you so much for making this ❤️

She Loves It!
My girlfriend just received the print, and she loves it! We both love the vibrant colors, and Forsyth Park, Savannah in general, and Tybee Island are special to us because she lives in NC and I live in FL, so every once in a while we’ll meet in the middle and explore together.
Thank you so much!

Metal Prints - Product Information
Metal prints are a contemporary and stylish choice that will arrive at your door ready to hang.
The artwork is printed on a 1/16" thick sheet of aluminum that is then mounted on a 3/4" thick wooden frame. The wooden frame is recessed from the edge of the print giving the appearance of a thin high-gloss metal print that appears to be offset from your wall.
Each metal print is made to your order and printed using archival quality materials that should last a lifetime. Metal prints take 5 to 7 business days to produce and are shipped directly to you in sturdy packaging.
The only decision you will have to make when ordering your metal print is how large you would like it to be.
