This Boston greeting card features the Custom House clock tower. In the heart of Boston's financial district, this local landmark was built in two stages. The actual custom house building at its base was built between 1837 and 1847. Decades passed before the Clock Tower was added in 1913-1915. Today the beautiful old tower houses a Marriott Hotel. At 496 feet the top of the historic tower is among the 20 tallest buildings in Boston. Not bad for a tower that's over a century old!
At the time I took the photo used to make this clock tower card, I didn't know any of the history of that grand building, I just knew that I loved the architecture of it and the great light that was hitting it that summer afternoon in Boston. I loved later finding out that I had spotted part of old Boston!
What attracts you to this Boston greeting card? Do you call the area home? Perhaps you're looking for the perfect gift for someone who loves Boston? Or maybe you simply love striking architecture? Hope you'll share what brought you here.

What People Are Saying
I'm a Hill and when I saw this I just had to buy it. I have so many fond memories of spending summer weeks down in Montezuma at Nanny and Paw's store. I was so sad when the flood filled the store with water but it was a testament to the community when so many banded together to help out afterwards. Just know I bought this print to frame and take to Nanny so she can enjoy it as well. Thank you so much for making this ❤️

She Loves It!
My girlfriend just received the print, and she loves it! We both love the vibrant colors, and Forsyth Park, Savannah in general, and Tybee Island are special to us because she lives in NC and I live in FL, so every once in a while we’ll meet in the middle and explore together.
Thank you so much!
