This historic Ireland greeting card features the beauty of Dunguaire Castle. Chances are if you've toured Ireland's west coast, you've at least paused near this 16th century tower house near Kinvara. It's seen in this artwork reflecting in the waters of Galway Bay.
The historic Dunguaire Castle was built in 1520 by the O'Hynes Clan. Its restoration began in the last century. In 1924 it was purchased by Oliver St. John Gogarty, a famous Irish surgeon and literary figure. The repairs he began were finished by Christobel Lady Amptill who purchased the castle in 1954. Today the castle belongs to Shannon Heritage who open the castle to visitors in the summer season. My own visit to Ireland was in the winter, so although I've seen this beautiful tower house, it was not up close and personal. It definitely made an impression on me anyway.
What caught your attention in the image on this Dunguaire Castle greeting card? Have you been there yourself or have some other connection to this historic old Irish building? I hope you'll share your thoughts.

How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
