This golden sunrise art print features a fishing boat on the water. This artwork is something of an homage to many early mornings when I would go out to capture the sunrise. Inevitably the people I shared those mornings with were out fishing. When most of the rest of the world was still fast asleep the fishing boats were already out on the water. I admire the determination even if early mornings are not part of my nature.
I did this during a period of personal loss while trying to focus on happier themes. The color scheme is purposefully cheerful and bright. The theme a mixture of quiet reflection and an attempt to look forward to happier times. Or maybe looking backwards? It's hard to say for sure but I still smile when I look at this fishing boat artwork. It's a celebration of life and it captures the beauty of a new day in my mind.
