This New York City art print features the landmark Flatiron Building. Located at 175 Fifth avenue, construction on this unusual building was finished in 1902. Originally known as the Fuller Building, it's name comes from its wedge shape which is similar to a cast iron clothes iron or flatiron. Once among the cities tallest skyscrapers it has been surpassed many times over but is an historic part of the fabric of New York City today. It's one of those buildings that is truly iconic or recognized the world over.
Capturing a unique view of a building that has no doubt been tackled by many artists is no easy feat but this scene succeeds in capturing both the busy streets of Manhattan and the architecture of the landmark Flatiron Building in one stroke. It's a personal favorite from my work in general and New York City in particular.

How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
