The artwork for this dreamy impressionist greeting card is based on a black and white photo of the old Equitable Building. The photo was taken by the US Government for the Historic American Buildings Survey sometime before its demolition in 1971. The Equitable Building, built in 1892, was generally regarded as Atlanta's first skyscraper. So, people from Atlanta may be interested in this artwork for that historical connection.
But ultimately as you can see, I went in a much more impressionist direction with this artwork which features layers of different media which adds to the feeling of it being something from a dream with the building dissolving into the very atmosphere around it. And I feel it's an image that has appeal for those who enjoy something unique as much as it is to those who like the nod to Atlanta's architectural past.

About Greeting Cards

Greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. Each card comes with a white envelope.
These greeting cards may be ordered as a single card or in packs of 10 or 25 cards. If you would like to order cards in greater quantities or with other customization, send me a message.
How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
