This California sunrise art print features fog on the hills somewhere near San Jose. I'm not sure exactly where this is. I left San Jose before sunrise with plans to see the redwoods. I pulled off the road in the twilight just before the sun appeared with the hopes of a pretty sunrise. While this may not be a classical sunrise, I was thrilled with the way a sliver of light broke through the mists and fog to illuminate a section of trees in the foreground. This artwork is based on a photo I took that morning.
This scenic landscape from Northern California at sunrise has always filled me with a sense of peace when I look at it. It's the same feeling one has in the stillness of morning before the world wakes up. While I'm not a morning person really, when I manage to rise and shine before sunrise, I wonder why I don't do it more often.
Does this foggy art print fill you with the same sense of peace? I would love to hear what attracted you to this scene?
