This Galway Ireland art print features a view of a foggy night walk. My first week in Galway was marked by an several days of increasing fog. It would clear in the day but each night was a denser fog than the one before. On the peak day the fog never entirely lifted and by night it was a freezing fog that was beautiful in its own way. This artwork is based on a photo I took that night as I made my way back to where I was staying. I suspect the gentleman ahead of me on the path near the canal basin was doing much the same.
But the fog imparts the scene with a sense of mystery. Where was the man heading? Home? A secret rendezvous somewhere? A clandestine encounter? A spy? Or just going to his cozy home to put away the groceries? The narrative is your choice!
What attracts you to this foggy night walk artwork? Does this art print remind you of something? A night in Galway? Or do you just love the general moody vibe and the lone figure? I hope you'll share what caught your attention.
