This Ireland dusk canvas print features the sweeping lines of the Salmon Weir Bridge leading the eyes to Galway Cathedral. This beautiful church at first glance may appear to be an ancient European cathedral, but Galway Cathedral was actually constructed in the 1960's. To my eyes there's a lot of classic old world inspiration here but if you visit the cathedral in person, you'll see a lot of modern touches as well. It's really a beautiful mix of modern and traditional, I think.
Galway Cathedral was one of the places I photographed on my last night in Galway years ago. And this artwork is based on those photos of the Galway as dusk fell. The skies were that shade of blue that you get near dark and mixed with clouds. And since it was winter, the trees were mostly bare as well. It was a beautiful final night in Galway and years later when I look at this Galway cathedral canvas print, I feel I'm back there. I think in part my art is to credit but I also think that Galway's heartwarming soul is there as well. There's just something about Galway that appealed to me and I gather from talking to others about it that I'm not alone. Even just visiting I felt a sense of homesickness when I left.
What appeals to you in this Ireland dusk canvas print? What is it that attracted you to look? I hope you'll share your thoughts on this Galway dusk artwork.

Canvas Prints - Product Information
Stretched canvas prints are a great choice for decorating your home or office. Canvas art is a classic choice that is at home in traditional and modern decor alike.
After the purchase of your canvas print, it is made to your order. The artwork is printed on an acid-free poly/cotton blend canvas. The use of archival inks and substrate means that your canvas art print should last a lifetime without fading or loss of color.
When ordering your print, you have a choice between glossy and matte finishes. While I ordinarily love matte finishes on prints, I do like the sheen that comes on glossy canvas prints. Ultimately I would suggest letting the amount of light in your space guide your choice. In a brightly lit environment, I would lean towards a matte finish to reduce the chance of glare.

There are three wrap styles to choose from for canvas prints. The mirrored wrap choice mirrors and extends the image to the sides of the canvas wrap (without losing any of the original artwork on the front). The majority of the time I would suggest this is the best choice. The other two options are a solid black wrap or white wrap. You can see a preview of each option when selecting wrap color.
After printing, the canvas is stretched over and secured to a wooden frame of 1.5" by 1.5" stretcher bars. The entire production process takes from 5 to 7 business days. Your artwork will arrive in sturdy packaging. The hanging wire will be attached and all hardware necessary to hang your canvas print will be included. Canvas prints are a great ready-to-hang option.
How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
