This original Galway Ireland greeting card features a scene reminiscent of ghosts in the fog. This was based on photos from somewhere in the pedestrian area of the old city. I know if you've read the descriptions of my other foggy scenes that I may sound like a broken record, but for me there's truly something magical about the fog. Perhaps even a bit ghostly. Everything has less form in the fog. Especially as it gets more distant. There's so much less depth in a foggy landscape and it plays with our senses, doesn't it? I think it may be even more so on a city street at night. With lights reflecting in the fog, the world becomes a muddle of light and color and people walking in the fog become little more than ghosts. Unless you're right on top of the person, you can't see much detail.
That ghostly feeling was what I was trying to convey here along with the sense of lighting and colors from warm to cool lighting to the colorful Irish store fronts.
I would love to hear what captures your attention in the artwork on this Galway card? Have you been or does the art speak to you more from the feeling in it? I hope you'll share your thoughts on this ghosts in the fog scene from Galway, Ireland.

What People Are Saying
I'm a Hill and when I saw this I just had to buy it. I have so many fond memories of spending summer weeks down in Montezuma at Nanny and Paw's store. I was so sad when the flood filled the store with water but it was a testament to the community when so many banded together to help out afterwards. Just know I bought this print to frame and take to Nanny so she can enjoy it as well. Thank you so much for making this ❤️

She Loves It!
My girlfriend just received the print, and she loves it! We both love the vibrant colors, and Forsyth Park, Savannah in general, and Tybee Island are special to us because she lives in NC and I live in FL, so every once in a while we’ll meet in the middle and explore together.
Thank you so much!
