This Historic Ideal tote bag features two original images, one of the old railroad depot on one side and on the other is the water tank that proudly declares that this is the only Ideal City in Georgia. Both sides feature local scenes that will probably be familiar to people from Ideal. The depot was built circa 1906 before the city was incorporated in 1907. The depot is shown in something of an idealized state with its original tile roof still in place. The water tank is shown as it looks today on the corner of Hoke Smith Avenue and Brooks Road.
Although I did not grow up in Ideal, I did grow up in Macon County so Ideal is a familiar place and of course, a charming town that is rightly the only Ideal town in Georgia.
Note, As mentioned above, the artwork on each side of this tote bag is different. If you'd like to request a different image on one side, custom text or other customizations please send a message before ordering.
