About This Image
Historic Industrial Warehouse - Hawkinsville Georgia 5x7 Greeting Card by Mark Tisdale.

The subject of this Hawkinsville Georgia greeting card is an historic industrial warehouse. On the day I stumbled over this what attracted me to this scenic view was the colors and the contrasting materials. Look at the brick and wood and corrugated metal and the overall rambling design of the buildings.

It was later when I was looking for information that I discovered the building in this image appears to be the Rock Warehouse Company, one of Hawkinsville's historic buildings. In fact parts of the building date from the 1800's making it one of the city's oldest. It has served a number of purposes over the years including pecan shelling, ginning, as well as a lumber yard. The passage of time and changes in purpose account for all of the different additions and materials which gives this historic industrial warehouse an almost organic feel.

What People Are Saying

Wonderful Memories

I'm a Hill and when I saw this I just had to buy it. I have so many fond memories of spending summer weeks down in Montezuma at Nanny and Paw's store. I was so sad when the flood filled the store with water but it was a testament to the community when so many banded together to help out afterwards. Just know I bought this print to frame and take to Nanny so she can enjoy it as well. Thank you so much for making this ❤️

Nostalgic Masterpiece

The Fox Theatre is Definitely FABULOUS! THIS BLACK AND WHITE VERSION GIVES EXTRA NOSTALGIA I believe, is why I picked this 1, though I love ALL OF Mark's pics of the Fox. The theatre is Beautiful, I went to 2 - 3 concerts there years ago & So glad it didn't get torn down. Mark captured Great details in this pic!!

She Loves It!

My girlfriend just received the print, and she loves it! We both love the vibrant colors, and Forsyth Park, Savannah in general, and Tybee Island are special to us because she lives in NC and I live in FL, so every once in a while we’ll meet in the middle and explore together.
Thank you so much!

How Can I Help?

It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.

With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.

And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.

And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
