This Florida metal print features the historic St Marks Lighthouse. This beautiful lighthouse has the distinction of being Florida's second oldest.
When the original St Marks lighthouse was completed in 1831, the port at town of St Marks was a major port for parts of Florida and south Georgia. The 1831 light was actually dismantled and rebuilt in 1842 when erosion threatened the first location. Both the original building and re-construction in 1842 were overseen by lighthouse builder, Winslow Lewis. The light station was damaged in the American Civil War and rebuilt after the conclusion of the war. It was at that time the lighthouse was increased from 65 to 73 feet.
The historic St Marks Lighthouse is depicted here beneath a star-filled night sky. The warm glow of the lantern and the building at its base gives a welcoming vibe, don't you think?
I'd love to hear what attracted you to this particular Florida lighthouse metal print? Is it simply that the art spoke to you or have you visited St Marks Lighthouse?

Metal Prints - Product Information

Metal prints are a contemporary and stylish choice that will arrive at your door ready to hang.
The artwork is printed on a 1/16" thick sheet of aluminum that is then mounted on a 3/4" thick wooden frame. The wooden frame is recessed from the edge of the print giving the appearance of a thin high-gloss metal print that appears to be offset from your wall.
Each metal print is made to your order and printed using archival quality materials that should last a lifetime. Metal prints take 5 to 7 business days to produce and are shipped directly to you in sturdy packaging.
The only decision you will have to make when ordering your metal print is how large you would like it to be.
How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
