Lamborghini Countach - Classic Car Art Print
The subject of this classic car art print is a Lamborghini Countach. This beautiful red Italian sports car is simply iconic. It was built from 1974 through 1990. And to my eyes anyway, it's a car design that still feels futuristic rather than quaint. There's just something dynamic about the styling of the Lamborghini Countach that says speed even when it's sitting still!
And for me, this is also a nod to a guilty pleasure of mine, the Transformers. Sideswipe, one of the characters from the classic cartoon series and toy line transformed into a bright red Lamborghini quite like the one pictured here. This Italian dream car would have been on my list of art subjects regardless of the pop culture connection, but it made doing this artwork even more fun for me. And I suspect there are some of you out there with your eyes on this print with that same connection, eh?
