This London architecture metal print features the Millennium Bridge as well as a view of the dome of St. Paul's Cathedral. I love this pairing of architecture because they share something in common aside from their proximity. Sir Christopher Wren's choice of a dome was controversial when it was rebuilt following the fire of 1666. Similarly, in our time the quite modern design of the Millennium Bridge was controversial. I love that London is a city that is still pushing the boundaries all these centuries later!
This metal print of the Millennium Bridge from the south bank of the Thames River is based on an afternoon during one of my trips to London. I loved the mix of lighting with the clouds forming shadows on the cityscape below as well as reflecting light across the water. The skies in England can be really dynamic and eye catching, can't they? The clouds almost feel like a physical thing that could be scooped up from the top of the cathedral dome. The lighting combined with the clouds themselves really combine with the architecture of the Millennium Bridge for a dramatic print.

Metal Prints - Product Information

Metal prints are a contemporary and stylish choice that will arrive at your door ready to hang.
The artwork is printed on a 1/16" thick sheet of aluminum that is then mounted on a 3/4" thick wooden frame. The wooden frame is recessed from the edge of the print giving the appearance of a thin high-gloss metal print that appears to be offset from your wall.
Each metal print is made to your order and printed using archival quality materials that should last a lifetime. Metal prints take 5 to 7 business days to produce and are shipped directly to you in sturdy packaging.
The only decision you will have to make when ordering your metal print is how large you would like it to be.
How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
