Montezuma Water Tower - 5x7 Georgia Greeting Card by Mark Tisdale.
This Georgia greeting card features the Montezuma water tower on North Dooly Street. There are a few old water tanks like this still in use in the city but this one in Fannie Carmichael Park with the city name painted on it is really eye-catching.
This old water tower is also part of the Montezuma historic district. I have not found when it was built but found references to the park below it being dedicated in 1925. And I have seen similar towers dated to that general era. Whenever it was built, I think by now we can certainly classify it as quaint and picturesque, don't you agree?
The Montezuma water tower on this card is seen on a sunny day with a great mixture of blue skies and fluffy white clouds.
