Oglethorpe United Methodist Church - Georgia Metal Print
This Georgia metal print features the 1894 Oglethorpe United Methodist Church in Macon County. Like many of the churches in the area, the congregation is older than the building. The history of the Methodist Church in Oglethorpe is basically as old as the city. The church bell was sent to be melted for munitions in the waning days of the civil war. However it was still intact when the war ended and was returned to Oglethorpe and still resides in the current bell tower.
I believe the architecture of the Oglethorpe United Methodist Church is essentially carpenter gothic. Certainly the pointed arch windows are of that style. Whatever the exact style, it's a beautiful and historic building and I wanted to give this print a little spirit of the past through the people shown on the sidewalk outside.

Metal Prints - Product Information
Metal prints are a contemporary and stylish choice that will arrive at your door ready to hang.
The artwork is printed on a 1/16" thick sheet of aluminum that is then mounted on a 3/4" thick wooden frame. The wooden frame is recessed from the edge of the print giving the appearance of a thin high-gloss metal print that appears to be offset from your wall.
Each metal print is made to your order and printed using archival quality materials that should last a lifetime. Metal prints take 10 to 15 business days to produce and are shipped directly to you in sturdy packaging.
The only decision you will have to make when ordering your metal print is how large you would like it to be.
