This Williamsburg metal print features the warm light from an open window at night with a lady almost in silhouette gazing out. Her old fashioned clothes are explained by this being based on a photo from a long ago visit to Colonial Williamsburg. It really does feel as if it could be from the distant past with the warm lantern light doesn't it?
This particularly print has always reminded me of my grandmother. When I look at it I remember her recalling a memory of her grandmother who commented on the many hours she had sat by a particular window waiting for her children when she was expecting them. I'm sure many parents can identify with that feeling of anticipation perhaps tinged with some slight worry! I suspect most of that time waiting for visitors was in the daytime in their rural location but there is still something about this open window scene that reminds me of my grandmother's sweet memory.
What does this open window at night artwork remind you of? What attracted you to this particular image? For me, aside from the memories it stirs, I love the combination of cool blues and warm hues. The warm light is simply comforting and I love blue! How about you?

I'm a Hill and when I saw this I just had to buy it. I have so many fond memories of spending summer weeks down in Montezuma at Nanny and Paw's store. I was so sad when the flood filled the store with water but it was a testament to the community when so many banded together to help out afterwards. Just know I bought this print to frame and take to Nanny so she can enjoy it as well. Thank you so much for making this ❤️

She Loves It!
My girlfriend just received the print, and she loves it! We both love the vibrant colors, and Forsyth Park, Savannah in general, and Tybee Island are special to us because she lives in NC and I live in FL, so every once in a while we’ll meet in the middle and explore together.
Thank you so much!

Metal prints are a contemporary and stylish choice that will arrive at your door ready to hang.
The artwork is printed on a 1/16" thick sheet of aluminum that is then mounted on a 3/4" thick wooden frame. The wooden frame is recessed from the edge of the print giving the appearance of a thin high-gloss metal print that appears to be offset from your wall.
Each metal print is made to your order and printed using archival quality materials that should last a lifetime. Metal prints take 10 to 15 business days to produce and are shipped directly to you in sturdy packaging.
The only decision you will have to make when ordering your metal print is how large you would like it to be.
