This Dublin Ireland waterfront greeting card features a striking view of Ormond Quay on the north side of the river Liffey. I experienced this dramatic lighting on one of my last days in Dublin. In fact, I remember I almost didn't go out that day. It had started out wet and I had work that needed doing anyway. And as I sat in my room, I got a glimpse of the sun coming out and I decided that I wasn't missing out on the sunshine. By the time I got down to the waterfront, the clouds were still dramatic and stormy but there was brilliant warm light hitting the buildings running along Ormond Quay. Didn't it make for a dramatic photo?
Ormond Quay was developed in the late 17th century and is named for James Butler, the first duke of Ormonde. The buildings you can see along the river quay are a varied lot. The oldest dates back to the 18th century while the newer buildings are from relatively recent years. Dublin is, after all, not just a tourist destination but a living breathing capital city. And if you take a closer look you'll see how this scene on Ormond Quay captures that. It's filled with cars and buses going about their daily routine.
In the distance one can even see the Four Courts building, the large domed structure, which rests on, appropriately, Courts Quay.
What catches your eye in the image on this Ormond Quay greeting card? Is it the dramatic sky? The warm light hitting the building? Maybe the brilliant reflections in the river? I hope you'll share what attracts you to this particular Dublin artwork?

How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
