Peggys Cove Lighthouse at Night - Canada Throw Pillow Cover

This Canada throw pillow cover is printed with my original art that depicts the landmark Peggys Cove lighthouse that stands at the  eastern entrance of St. Margarets Bay in Nova Scotia. It was built in 1914 to replace a previouis wooden lighthouse that stood on Peggy's Point near the village of Peggy's Cove. The Peggys Cove lighthouse is considered to be one of the most recognizable and if you love lighthouses you probably recognize it even if you don't know the name. It certainly feels like the epitome of classic coastal lighthouses doesn't it?

My artwork on this lighthouse throw pillow cover depicts the lighthouse beneath a starry night sky. There's a real sense of calm and what I think are some beautiful shades of blue. The lighthouse lantern has its current red glow but the color has apparently changed multiple times in the past century.  I would love to hear what attracts you to the artwork on this throw cover? But most importantly the fabric reproduces the image closest to the artist's intention. Still it's worth stating that fabric does not produce images with the same result as wall art you may have purchased or seen.

Care Instructions

Throw pillow covers are intended for indoor use.

To clean, remove insert from pillow cover. Pre-treat the stains with soft cloth or bristle brush that had been soaked in warm soapy water. Machine wash, max 40°C (104°F), normal cycle. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not dry-clean. Iron, steam, or dry low heat only. Fluff to reshape when assembling it back together.
