This vintage Florida map greeting card features the historic Pensacola lighthouse. Built in the 1850's this towering lighthouse is still a local landmark in Pensacola today. This original artwork combines a vintage map of the Florida coast that was published close in time to when the current light was built. The resulting collage has a real sense of history and place. And it will probably have a familiar feeling to many who call the Florida panhandle near Pensacola home.
The artwork on this Florida card also includes the Keeper's cottage at the Pensacola Lighthouse. Built as a duplex it originally housed the lighthouse keeper, assistant keeper, and their families. Today it is a museum.
I would love to hear what attracts you to the image on this Pensacola greeting card? Are you from the area? Or do you simply love history? Although I have had family in Pensacola all my life, I'm probably more in the latter camp. I love history and adore lighthouses! So needless to say this artwork was genuinely enjoyable for me to work on.

How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
