This London metal print features a Peter's Hill view of St. Paul's Cathedral. This approach to St. Paul's from the river used to be known as St. Peter's Steps and prior to the blitz of World War II would have been a much different landscape from what I've heard. This area was still the London of Charles Dickens' day up until much of it was bombed. The image of the dome of St. Paul's rising from the smoke is still a powerful image all these years later. I wonder how different this view would be without the war?
London is not a static city. Despite it's tourist trade, it's a living breathing place that continues to build alongside the old. So whatever might have been, the approach to the 17th century is filled with the modern. And that contrast is one of the things I personally love about London. When St. Paul's Cathedral was built, it was cutting edge. So it seems fitting that it should be surrounded by modern architecture. At least that's my take on it.
This view up Peter's Hill is a slice of London. From the architecture to the crowds enjoying a sunny day to take in the sights. Maybe this print reminds you of your own time in London?

Metal Prints - Product Information

Metal prints are a contemporary and stylish choice that will arrive at your door ready to hang.
The artwork is printed on a 1/16" thick sheet of aluminum that is then mounted on a 3/4" thick wooden frame. The wooden frame is recessed from the edge of the print giving the appearance of a thin high-gloss metal print that appears to be offset from your wall.
Each metal print is made to your order and printed using archival quality materials that should last a lifetime. Metal prints take 5 to 7 business days to produce and are shipped directly to you in sturdy packaging.
The only decision you will have to make when ordering your metal print is how large you would like it to be.
How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
