The subject of this Montezuma Georgia metal print is the 1939 U.S. Post Office located on the corner of Cabot and Cherry Streets. It may be a familiar design to many across the US as many similar post offices were built as part of the New Deal era building programs. To my eyes, the style of the red brick post office seems to be a mix of Neoclassical design elements and some federal style influence but I have not seen a definitive classification for what architectural style our classic old post office is.
It's shown here in this artwork closer to how I remember it growing up in Montezuma. And it's changed little to today aside from having lost the classic 1930's lamp posts at the entrance to the flood of 1994. The building is seen here surrounded in a canopy of trees as our Post Office is situated on a deep corner lot which until recent years was filled with large oaks.

Metal Prints - Product Information

Metal prints are a contemporary and stylish choice that will arrive at your door ready to hang.
The artwork is printed on a 1/16" thick sheet of aluminum that is then mounted on a 3/4" thick wooden frame. The wooden frame is recessed from the edge of the print giving the appearance of a thin high-gloss metal print that appears to be offset from your wall.
Each metal print is made to your order and printed using archival quality materials that should last a lifetime. Metal prints take 5 to 7 business days to produce and are shipped directly to you in sturdy packaging.
The only decision you will have to make when ordering your metal print is how large you would like it to be.
How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
