Red Telephone Booth - 5x7 London Greeting Card by Mark Tisdale.
This London greeting card features a classic red telephone booth. In fact, this is a classic image in its own right. After well over a decade, this remains my most popular photo. It's also one of my oldest images that is still available to purchase. You see no matter how long I do this for a living, I remain my own worst critic. I can pretty much always look at my work and find something I would change, but not with this one. The lighting and composition in the original photo taken on a long-ago day in London was spot on. And my decision to use a selective color treatment made this an instant classic London scene.
When I did this years ago, there was no in-camera option to do selective color. No click and go app. I masked this image by hand which makes me feel very old now. My title for this Red Telephone booth artwork has always been "London Calling" - and London does call me all the time and in particular when I see this view of a Red Telephone Box from near the Embankment tube station in London.
I feel I can even hear the city again when I look at the image on this card. How about you?

About Greeting Cards

Greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. Each card comes with a white envelope.
These greeting cards may be ordered as a single card or in packs of 10 or 25 cards. If you would like to order cards in greater quantities or with other customization, send me a message.
How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
