This foggy Galway greeting card features a section of the river just a little beyond the Salmon Weir bridge. Even without the fog it's a beautiful piece of Landscape that feels more secluded than it is, but in the fog, it becomes a mystical other realm, doesn't it? I love fog so I was delighted that part of my time in Galway there was several days of really foggy weather. The city streets and the sights around the city of Galway were magical in the fog. And despite it being cold in damp, I spent hours searching for inspiration. And the trees in the image on this foggy Galway greeting card were a great subject. They seem to exist on a border between this world and another. Even not being there there's a sense of the stillness and quiet in this scene isn't there?
This is an image that has been popular not just with people who love Galway but generally with anyone that loves mysterious landscapes. Which camp do you fall into? Perhaps a bit of both? I know for me it's the latter. I loved walking the River Corrib regardless. And of course, I've said many times I feel like I left a little piece of my heart in that beautiful Irish city. But I also adore the fog wherever I may find it.

How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
