This rainy London metal print features a true classic - the red routemaster bus. This is the style that's still recognizable to so many. And you'll still find some of them in private use but the last of the heritage routes that used these vintage buses was shuttered in recent years. I feel fortunate to have gotten to ride one of them on one of my trips to London some years back. It had been a long-standing dream. When I was quite small, my uncle and aunt spent a summer in Europe including, predictably, some time in London. When we visited their home, I always wanted to play with the souvenir routemaster toy bus my uncle had gotten. Having been around small children since, I know how nice he was being letting me handle it at all! I probably also saw pictures of them in the slides from their trip but it was the little toy that made the biggest impression on me. Of course, there are still modern double decker buses in London and the latest ones are a modern nod to the routemaster but nothing beats the real thing!
This artwork depicts a classic routemaster bus in service on Regent Street, a landmark shopping district in London's West End. The city lights and the rainy streets very much remind me of my visits to London. Even on my shortest trip there, a long weekend, it rained, so it's hard for me to imagine London without sloshing around a bit.
Does this routemaster bus artwork remind you of time in London? Perhaps you've visited or call London home? I hope you'll take a moment to share what caught your attention in this rainy London metal print.

Metal Prints - Product Information

Metal prints are a contemporary and stylish choice that will arrive at your door ready to hang.
The artwork is printed on a 1/16" thick sheet of aluminum that is then mounted on a 3/4" thick wooden frame. The wooden frame is recessed from the edge of the print giving the appearance of a thin high-gloss metal print that appears to be offset from your wall.
Each metal print is made to your order and printed using archival quality materials that should last a lifetime. Metal prints take 5 to 7 business days to produce and are shipped directly to you in sturdy packaging.
The only decision you will have to make when ordering your metal print is how large you would like it to be.
How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
