This rugged coastal landscape greeting card was inspired by multiple places where I've traveled over the years. In particular it reminded me of the coast of Ireland and Scotland, but I would also say I see something of Northern California in the waters of this square format artwork. There's just something about the raw power of the ocean that I think will always speak to me wherever I may go. And when I look at this scenic view, I can hear and smell the sea. How about you? Does the sea air invigorate you as well? Part of me has always wanted to live on the coast. Perhaps some day!
In addition to the power of the waves, there's a feeling of a windswept landscape and warm sunlight. The billowing clouds suggest a storm may have just passed. This in particular reminds me of my days in Scotland and Ireland where the weather could go from dark and brooding to sunny in short order. They are both places where the weather is truly dynamic.
What speaks to you in this rugged coastal landscape? Does it remind you of some place in particular? Or many places at once? Maybe it makes sense that it reminds me of several places I've so thoroughly enjoyed? I would love to hear how the image on this card affects you as well!

How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
