This tote bag features a rustic cottage based on an old house in Montezuma, Georgia. The original artwork printed on this tote bag is sort of a mixture of things. The house is or was barely clinging to life when I saw it but I saw past the boarded up windows and doors to what it may have been. The figure in the doorway is based on an old photo my grandfather took. The subject was my uncle as a baby being held on the front steps but in the background you could see my grandmother much like this with her face in shadows. To me it was a powerful image because of that watchful presence but I suspect it was an accident rather than something my grandfather planned. I liked that it also leaves it open to who it is in this artwork. Maybe you see your grandmother in that cottage door or a dear aunt? What watchful figure do you see in the shadows of that rustic cottage open door?

Care Instructions
Remove all items from the bag before cleaning. Suggested to pretreat visible stains with stain remover. Mix warm water with laundry detergent and clean the bag with terry washcloth or a soft bristle brush. Let the bag air dry.
