This Irish art print features the RV Celtic Explorer at the Port of Galway. I visited Ireland during an unusually cold winter and ice had formed in parts of the harbor and the canal basin. It was an interesting sight to see for sure. The Celtic Explorer was at its home port - it is a research vessel operated by the Marine Institute in Galway. Entering into service in 2003 it had already been in operation around seven years at the time, but it is still in active duty today.
I would love to know what attracted you to this Port of Galway art print? Have you been on the Celtic Explorer for work? Or maybe you love unique art prints featuring Galway?
