About This Image

This coastal Georgia tote bag features artwork which depicts the 1820 Sapelo Island lighthouse. It's depicted on a sunny day with coastal marsh grases in the foreground. The lighthouse spent most of the 20th century in ruins but was restored to its 1890 appearance in the 1990's. Most of Sapelo Island is owned by the state but it's also notable for being the home of the Gullah people of Hog Hammock. The Gullah are an African American community with a distinct culture and creole language.

Even if you have never visited Sapelo Island, this coastal tote bag features a charming old lighthouse that is sure to be enjoyed by lighthouse lovers out there.

Note, the same artwork is repeated on both sides of the tote bag. If you'd like a different image on one side or other customizations please send a message.

Wonderful Memories

I'm a Hill and when I saw this I just had to buy it. I have so many fond memories of spending summer weeks down in Montezuma at Nanny and Paw's store. I was so sad when the flood filled the store with water but it was a testament to the community when so many banded together to help out afterwards. Just know I bought this print to frame and take to Nanny so she can enjoy it as well. Thank you so much for making this ❤️

The Fox Theatre is Definitely FABULOUS! THIS BLACK AND WHITE VERSION GIVES EXTRA NOSTALGIA I believe, is why I picked this 1, though I love ALL OF Mark's pics of the Fox. She Loves It!

My girlfriend just received the print, and she loves it! We both love the vibrant colors, and Forsyth Park, Savannah in general, and Tybee Island are special to us because she lives in NC and I live in FL, so every once in a while we’ll meet in the middle and explore together.
Thank you so much!
