Skateboarding - Brooklyn Bridge Art Print
Description
Skateboarding - Brooklyn Bridge Art Print by Mark Tisdale.
This Brooklyn Bridge art print shows someone skateboarding across the pedestrian part of the bridge. This artwork is based on a photo taken during my first trip to NYC years ago. I was momentarily surprised when skateboarders began passing me on the walkway but on that sunny afternoon, it seemed perfect. I look at this image and hear the sounds of them rushing by on the boards and it fills my spirits. Such fun! Or at least it looked fun to me!
There's something very cool about a landmark like the Brooklyn Bridge being just another part of the landscape to someone who calls New York City home, a way home, or a place to play.
What first attracted you to this skateboarding artwork? Does it remind you of a sunny afternoon in NYC? Or maybe you're a skateboarder yourself or shopping for a loved one who is?
