This small town Christmas parade art print features elements of my own childhood. The backdrop for this artwork is in fact a part of my hometown, Montezuma, and the setting is based on memories of night time parades we once had here. And oh yes even today Santa on a fire engine is still the highlight of our parades. These days the truck Santa rides is a lot newer but in my childhood Santa rode on an antique fire engine that was no longer in active service even then. Today I'm told that although it's still parked at the firehouse, it lacks some vital parts that could not be replaced so its no longer road worthy. But it is in my imagination. I still remember with much fondness the cool night air and the Christmas lights of those parades. And I remember clamoring for the candy Santa was throwing as he came by. Happy memories, probably rose colored glasses, too, but happy nonetheless.
Does this small town Christmas parade art print remind you of your own happy memories? Or is it just the quaint hint of Americana that called to you? I hope you'll share your thoughts about this artwork.

What People Are Saying
I'm a Hill and when I saw this I just had to buy it. I have so many fond memories of spending summer weeks down in Montezuma at Nanny and Paw's store. I was so sad when the flood filled the store with water but it was a testament to the community when so many banded together to help out afterwards. Just know I bought this print to frame and take to Nanny so she can enjoy it as well. Thank you so much for making this ❤️

She Loves It!
My girlfriend just received the print, and she loves it! We both love the vibrant colors, and Forsyth Park, Savannah in general, and Tybee Island are special to us because she lives in NC and I live in FL, so every once in a while we’ll meet in the middle and explore together.
Thank you so much!
