This small town Christmas parade greeting card features elements of my own childhood. The backdrop for this artwork is in fact a part of my hometown, Montezuma, and the setting is based on memories of night time parades we once had here. And oh yes even today Santa on a fire engine is still the highlight of our parades. These days the truck Santa rides is a lot newer but in my childhood Santa rode on an antique fire engine that was no longer in active service even then. Today I'm told that although it's still parked at the firehouse, it lacks some vital parts that could not be replaced so its no longer road worthy. But it is in my imagination. I still remember with much fondness the cool night air and the Christmas lights of those parades. And I remember clamoring for the candy Santa was throwing as he came by. Happy memories, probably rose colored glasses, too, but happy nonetheless.
Does the image on this small town Christmas parade greeting card remind you of your own happy memories? Or is it just the quaint hint of Americana that called to you? I hope you'll share your thoughts about this artwork.

How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
