The artwork printed on the cover of this personalized spiral notebook depicts coastal Florida's St Marks Lighthouse at night. This is my original art and extra special to me because it is my Mom's favorite lighthouse - one she fondly remembers visiting with her family as a child. The uses for this notebook could include anything from a logbook to a diary, but as lighthouses have a history of spiritual symbology, I think a daily gratitude journal would be particularly appropriate. However you choose to use your notebook, the lighthouse artwork on its cover make it a great piece of functional art to enjoy each day. The St Marks Lighthouse was built in 1831 and then later dismantled and rebuilt in its current location in 1842. In recent years this historic lighthouse on Florida's forgotten coast has been the subject of renovation and recently the lantern was re-lit. When I was working on this I had no idea the lantern was in use again so the art was the product of my imagination but it is actually something you could see in person again.
Before buying your notebook, be sure to choose one or two lines of text to personalize your made to order spiral notebook. The first line is required before placing your order. If no second line is chosen, the first line will be positioned to fill the space.
