Description

St Simons Island Lighthouse At Night - Georgia Art Print by Mark Tisdale.

This Georgia art print features the St Simons Island Lighthouse at night in the rain. I love lighthouses in the sun, at night, etc., but there's something about a driving rain that really speaks to me on a deeper level. And I think a lot of people feel like that. Lighthouses are a beacon in the storm, both real and in a proverbial sense.

The St Simons Island Lighthouse is on the Georgia coast and hails from the Victorian era when it was rebuilt following the Civil War. This print of that landmark lighthouse is a study in cool blues and the warm golden glow of the lighthouse lights.
