This historic Salem metal print features the beautiful brick Custom House on Derby Street in Salem, Massachusetts. This 1819 building is part of the Salem Maritime Museum, a national historic site that would be impressive just by its age and period architecture. But it is also where Nathaniel Hawthorne worked for three years. His time working here inspired the novel, The Scarlet Letter. Among the exhibits is his office restored to look as it did when Hawthorne worked here.
My trip to Historic Salem was on a sunny winter day as evidenced by the bare trees and the lady bundled up in her coat in the foreground. When I captured this view of the architecture, I didn't know any of the history of this beautiful old building. It simply felt historical and beautiful - little did I know!
Have you visited the Custom House in Salem, Massachusetts? Maybe you call Salem home? Or perhaps, like me, you love history? I hope you'll share what attracted you to this particular Salem metal print?

Metal Prints - Product Information

Metal prints are a contemporary and stylish choice that will arrive at your door ready to hang.
The artwork is printed on a 1/16" thick sheet of aluminum that is then mounted on a 3/4" thick wooden frame. The wooden frame is recessed from the edge of the print giving the appearance of a thin high-gloss metal print that appears to be offset from your wall.
Each metal print is made to your order and printed using archival quality materials that should last a lifetime. Metal prints take 5 to 7 business days to produce and are shipped directly to you in sturdy packaging.
The only decision you will have to make when ordering your metal print is how large you would like it to be.
How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
