This Galway Ireland greeting card features The Long Walk In A Fog. If Galway is familiar to you, there's no doubt you're not a stranger to this waterfront view. The Long Walk is the name of of the quay that exists beyond Spanish Arch. This was actually a long ago extension and the arch in the old walls was built to provide access. There doesn't seem to be a consensus on where the name The Long Walk comes from - some thing it may be an English corruption of a Gaelic Irish name. Wherever the name originated it has stuck. And in the "Rose by any other name" camp it's a beautiful sight no matter what. It just has a quintessentially old world Irish feel to it even with the mix of modern architecture poking up above the roof tops. I spent a little bit of every day down here walking along The Long Walk and the Claddagh on the opposite bank of the River Corrib. Scenic views and sea air, what's not to love?
On this particular morning, it was quite foggy. In fact, the fog on this morning never really broke and by night it was pea soup thick fog cover the streets of Galway on the Irish west coast. And since I love fog, I was out there enjoying the surreal almost ethereal view of the city. Isn't it something?
I would love to know what attracts you to the unique image on this Galway greeting card? I hope you'll share.

How Can I Help?
It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.
With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.
And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.
And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
