This Galway Ireland metal print features The Long Walk In A Fog. If Galway is familiar to you, there's no doubt you're not a stranger to this waterfront view. The Long Walk is the name of of the quay that exists beyond Spanish Arch. This was actually a long ago extension and the arch in the old walls was built to provide access. There doesn't seem to be a consensus on where the name The Long Walk comes from - some thing it may be an English corruption of a Gaelic Irish name. Wherever the name originated it has stuck. And in the "Rose by any other name" camp it's a beautiful sight no matter what. It just has a quintessentially old world Irish feel to it even with the mix of modern architecture poking up above the roof tops. I spent a little bit of every day down here walking along The Long Walk and the Claddagh on the opposite bank of the River Corrib. Scenic views and sea air, what's not to love?
On this particular morning, it was quite foggy. In fact, the fog on this morning never really broke and by night it was pea soup thick fog cover the streets of Galway on the Irish west coast. And since I love fog, I was out there enjoying the surreal almost ethereal view of the city. Isn't it something?
I would love to know what attracts you to this unique Galway metal print? I hope you'll share.

What People Are Saying
I'm a Hill and when I saw this I just had to buy it. I have so many fond memories of spending summer weeks down in Montezuma at Nanny and Paw's store. I was so sad when the flood filled the store with water but it was a testament to the community when so many banded together to help out afterwards. Just know I bought this print to frame and take to Nanny so she can enjoy it as well. Thank you so much for making this ❤️

She Loves It!
My girlfriend just received the print, and she loves it! We both love the vibrant colors, and Forsyth Park, Savannah in general, and Tybee Island are special to us because she lives in NC and I live in FL, so every once in a while we’ll meet in the middle and explore together.
Thank you so much!
