The Water Tower - Ideal Georgia Metal Print by Mark Tisdale.
This Ideal Georgia metal print features the water tower on the corner of Hoke Smith Avenue and Brooks Road. For anyone who has been to "The Only Ideal City in Georgia," this will likely be a familiar sight. And it's true, Georgia only has one city named Ideal, nestled in rural Macon County.
Ideal came into being as a railroad town. Legend has it that it was originally called Joetown. But when two railroad executives visited one said it was an "ideal" place for a depot and the name Ideal stuck. The town of Ideal was incorporated in 1907.
Ideal is a small town but as the water tower depicted here suggests there's a well of local pride in that place. I suspect if you've found this Ideal Georgia metal print, you've probably called Ideal home at some point or still do? I'd love to hear what this artwork means to you?

Metal Prints - Product Information

Metal prints are a contemporary and stylish choice that will arrive at your door ready to hang.
The artwork is printed on a 1/16" thick sheet of aluminum that is then mounted on a 3/4" thick wooden frame. The wooden frame is recessed from the edge of the print giving the appearance of a thin high-gloss metal print that appears to be offset from your wall.
Each metal print is made to your order and printed using archival quality materials that should last a lifetime. Metal prints take 10 to 15 business days to produce and are shipped directly to you in sturdy packaging.
The only decision you will have to make when ordering your metal print is how large you would like it to be.
