The Windmill - London Soho Metal Print
The subject of this London Soho metal print is "The Windmill." I stumbled over this sight on my last night in London years ago. I was wandering around Piccadilly Circus and this bright red glow caught my eyes. And I guess as you can see from the sign, it makes the term "red light district" rather literal. I didn't know anything about the history of The Windmill International at the time. It turns out the club opened in the 1930's and was known for not closing even during the Blitz.
Originally known as The Windmill Theatre, the strip club on Great Windmill Street lasted for nearly 90 years but has been closed in recent years with plans to renovate and reopen as a cocktail club. It appears this London metal print now depicts a little bit of London history.

Metal Prints - Product Information
Metal prints are a contemporary and stylish choice that will arrive at your door ready to hang.
The artwork is printed on a 1/16" thick sheet of aluminum that is then mounted on a 3/4" thick wooden frame. The wooden frame is recessed from the edge of the print giving the appearance of a thin high-gloss metal print that appears to be offset from your wall.
Each metal print is made to your order and printed using archival quality materials that should last a lifetime. Metal prints take 10 to 15 business days to produce and are shipped directly to you in sturdy packaging.
The only decision you will have to make when ordering your metal print is how large you would like it to be.
