This dramatic London art print features the Victorian architecture of Tower Bridge. This bridge is so tied to London that you'll often find people referring to it as "London Bridge" which as most Anglophiles know is an entirely different bridge altogether.
Tower Bridge was built in the Gothic Revival architectural style because of its proximity to the Tower of London. The end result is a sweeping structure that blends Gothic with Victorian bridges in a singularly unforgettable way. And the light on this particular afternoon was dramatic in its own right. The skies were filled with dark brooding clouds but as I arrived at Tower Bridge it was bathed in the warm glow of the sun creating a most striking contrast! This is certainly an unforgettable Tower Bridge print, wouldn't you agree?
