About This Image
Traditional Mexican Architecture - Colorful Merida 5x7 Greeting Card by Mark Tisdale.

The subject of this colorful Merida greeting card is traditional Mexican architecture. If you visit many colonial cities in Mexico, this is a fairly typical scene with monolithic walls and large doors. Often the doors are ornate, or in the case of the one seen here, there's elaborate ironwork It may not be apparent from the photo but those walls are usually thick and unless they've been recently painted, there's often a bit of onion peel to the paint and plaster. But what I love most about this scenic view of the traditional Mexican architecture in Merida is the vibrant red. And although the colors vary, colorfully painted architecture is practically synonymous with Mexico. If you love bright colors, Mexico is surely memorable.

I would love to hear what you found attractive in the image on this Mexican architecture greeting card? Have you visited Merida too or is it simply down to the textures and vivid colors in this image of Mexico?

What People Are Saying

Wonderful Memories

I'm a Hill and when I saw this I just had to buy it. I have so many fond memories of spending summer weeks down in Montezuma at Nanny and Paw's store. I was so sad when the flood filled the store with water but it was a testament to the community when so many banded together to help out afterwards. Just know I bought this print to frame and take to Nanny so she can enjoy it as well. Thank you so much for making this ❤️

Nostalgic Masterpiece

The Fox Theatre is Definitely FABULOUS! THIS BLACK AND WHITE VERSION GIVES EXTRA NOSTALGIA I believe, is why I picked this 1, though I love ALL OF Mark's pics of the Fox. The theatre is Beautiful, I went to 2 - 3 concerts there years ago & So glad it didn't get torn down. Mark captured Great details in this pic!!

She Loves It!

My girlfriend just received the print, and she loves it! We both love the vibrant colors, and Forsyth Park, Savannah in general, and Tybee Island are special to us because she lives in NC and I live in FL, so every once in a while we’ll meet in the middle and explore together.
Thank you so much!

How Can I Help?

It's important to me that you know you're dealing with a person rather than some large corporation. I'm Mark Tisdale and I've worked as an artist for over 15 years now. The bulk of that time selling my work on prints and other products has been a full-time job I love. Not only does your purchase keep the lights on in my world, it simply matters to me that you are a happy customer. In the spirt of the golden rule, I want for you what I want for myself when I purchase online. And at the end of the day, I hope you may purchase from me again in the future or refer me to your friends and family.

With that in mind, if there are any questions I can answer before you purchase, please contact me so that I can assist.

And yes, the same person whose art you are considering buying is the one answering emails and tracking your order after it ships. So if your order goes awry or arrives in a less than satisfactory condition, without a doubt I want and need to hear from you.

And as an artist if you like my style but don't see the specific subject you were hoping to find today, please do tell me what it is you're seeking.
