This starry night art print features the Tybee Island Lighthouse. This beautiful lighthouse on the Georgia coast was rebuilt following the American civil war. The lower portions of the tower are 18th century but the tower was made larger when it was restored following damage in the war. It's depicted here beneath a starry night sky with the historic lantern aglow. There's a warm feeling in the glow of the lantern and the visible windows on the tower which contrasts with the blue of the night sky.
What captures your attention most in the Tybee Island lighthouse artwork on this art print? And do you have a special affection for this particular lighthouse or do you just enjoy this lighthouse artwork because you are a fan of the subject? I hope you'll share your thoughts.
