Description
Vintage Tybee Island Lighthouse 5x7 Greeting Card by Mark Tisdale.
The artwork on this vintage Tybee Island Lighthouse greeting card was created using photos from my own visit to Tybee Island and the text from a letter my grandfather wrote to my grandmother decades ago. The warm hues from that yellowed letter paper also lend some of their colors to the art on this card. The result is a lighthouse image with a sense of age to it - a very sentimental view.
This Tybee Island lighthouse artwork has been, I will admit, surprisingly popular over the years. I think it's hard not to love old handwritten letters from days gone by. And of course, lighthouses are a subject many of us are drawn to.
